Q. How and when can I contact Lehigh Valley Abrasives?

You can all us at (616) 228-0650. Our hours are 8:30am to 5pm EST Monday-Friday. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Q. How do I place an order?

Place the item(s) of your choice into our shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" buttons on our website. Then click the "Proceed to Checkout" button and follow the easy to use purchasing system. At that time, you will be told your freight rates, if any, and you will input your shipping and payment information so that we can process your order.

Q. How can I track my order once it is in transit?

Once your order is placed, you can track your order online here. Additionally, an email will be sent to you the night your order ships. This email will confirm shipment, and will contain your tracking number that you can then use to track your shipment via the FedEx or UPS website.

Payment Methods, Fees And Charges

Q. How do I purchase products on the website?

Lehigh Valley Abrasives accepts all major credit cards and paypal. Your secruity is always our first concern, which is why you can always trust knowing Lehigh Valley Abrasives is secured. We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Q. Are there restocking fees?

A restocking fee of up to 15% (25% will be applied on special orders and certain manufacturers inquire before ordering) will be charged to the end user for all returned merchandise shipping costs included in the initial delivery of order will not be refunded. We will gladly refund 100% of the product price including shipping charges and applicable tax if the error was ours or if the merchandise was defective on delivery.

Shipping

Q. When will my order ship?

We ship all “in stock” orders the same day that are received before 5:00 PM. Orders received after 5:00 PM will ship next business day. No orders are processed or shipped on Saturday and Sunday, except by prior arrangement. All orders can be viewed within users Account, under “View Order Status”. We do not guarantee order time and day arrivals. All shipping and transit times are an estimate only. Lehigh Valley Abrasives always encourages our customers to order within a timely fashion to avoid shipping delays and products availability.

Q. How much are shipping charges?

Shipping is based on weight and distance. You can get an estimate of freight charges on our website by clicking the "Proceed to Checkout" button, and then entering your zip code. Our systems will then automatically communicate with the proper freight companies and display the freight charges for your order, if any.

Q. Can I use USPS or UPS or some other shipping company?

Lehigh Valley Abrasives uses both FedEx and USPS to give you the best possible options for on time delivery.

Q. When is your shipping cutoff time?

Expedited orders placed after 5:00 P.M. EST will ship the following business day.

Q. What happens if my order is damaged?

While we don't anticipate it, damage sometimes occurs. When you sign for the package, please make sure to indicate that the package was/is damaged. This will help us file a claim. However, we will happily replace your order for products damaged by the shipping company called in within 3 business days of delivery. We are not responsible for any damaged items shipped via Freight Forwarder outside of the United States.

Q. Do you ship to Canada?

Yes. Though international tariffs, taxes and additional handling fees will apply. We have no way of determining these tariffs, taxes and additional handling fees at the time of shipment, and you will be responsible for paying those fees. We have no control over tariffs, taxes and additional handling fees as they are determined and collected by government agencies. Please be aware that all of our products are designed for US Power. 120 Volts/60Hz and may or may not operate in your country. Additionally, returns and warranties outside of the US can be problematic as freight expenses will be the customers to bear.

Q. Do you ship to Asia, Europe, or Africa?

Q. What if I don't like my purchase (returns/exchange policy)?

We accept returns up to 30 days after you receive your order. Your order must be in good condition and be in the original packaging. There may be restocking fees for special orders or for orders that are damaged. Freight is not refundable. Some restrictions may apply. Return must be postmarked within 30 days of return request. We do not take some items back, examples are generators, sewer machines etc. Orders shipped via Freight Forwarder and/or outside of the United States cannot be returned.

Please allow 7-10 business days for returns to be inspected and credited once received.

Q. What is your out of stock policy?

Our website indicates items that are in stock. So you should always know when our products are available for immediate shipment. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.
